On the weekend of October 7th, 2022 NHCFAE President Oscar Torres and Outreach coordinator Ruth Hurtado joined the FAA Hispanic Employment Manager and member of our coalition Migdalia Gonzalez, Raina Price Senior HR and talent Acquisition Manager at HACU’s 36th Annual Conference on Hispanic Higher Education. This conference was attended by over 2,500 participants and our NHCFAE was able to support by participating in Networking panels and workshops which allowed students to ask specific questions about careers in the FAA and federal service overall. Ruth and Migdalia also reviewed resumes for the students and provided their insight on how to make the resumes better for Federal Government Employment.

Connections were also made with Hispanic Serving Institutions and the NHCFAE remains committed to engage with these institutions for many years to come. We were truly motivated to see such tremendous commitment by these latino students to pursue their professional dreams through higher education. The future of our country will be in good hands with them.
