As many of you are now aware, the FAA has formally announced its decision to discontinue official support to employee associations, including the National Hispanic Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees. This includes the cessation of payroll deductions for membership dues and agency-sponsored participation in events and conferences.

This change represents a significant shift in how employee associations will operate within the agency. But while the framework around us may be changing, our mission is not.

Let us be clear:

The NHCFAE is still here — and we are moving forward.

For more than 40 years, our coalition has stood strong, rooted in our commitment to community, service, and representation. The support we’ve built, the mentorship we’ve offered, and the lives we’ve touched were never solely defined by agency resources. They have always been powered by our people — by you.

This moment is not the end of our story. It is the beginning of a new chapter.

We are now expanding our partnerships within the broader transportation and aerospace industries, building new bridges with stakeholders and organizations in both the public and private sectors. These relationships will allow us to continue growing, expanding our reach, and delivering the same powerful impact in our communities.
